AVM Hawkins is an American fine artist, specializing in large scale and custom sized abstract expressionistic paintings. AVM has the vision and talent to collaborate with you to create a beautiful work of art that suits your design needs and desires. AVM creates each painting using her bare hands, utilizing ingenuity, passion and raw materials to cultivate each original painting. AVM paints from her soul. Her process is intuitive, spontaneous and explorative that encapsulates emotion and awe.

AVM Hawkins Fine Art pricing for commissioned original artwork is calculated based upon the square inch. Custom works on canvas begin at $2.00 per square inches and may vary according to the quality of materials, time, and texture incorporated within the work, as well as the level of time and complexity required to complete the commission. A 30% commission service fee is added to the retail price.

AVM Original Commssion Works come with: (1) Certificate of Authencity; (2) Certificate of Retail Value; (3) Artist Statement by AVM Hawkins; and (4) Exclusive Collector Photos.

rainmaker

During times of drought, the ability to invoke rain is a divine answer to prayer and desire. Rain can be interpreted literally, or symbolically as compensation, sustenance, and opportunity. One cannot command “rain;” however one can work in unison with God / Mother Nature. Becoming one with the source of all creation, and living in gratitude of it.

Rainmaker involves several layers of strategically placed, controlled drips of slightly diluted acrylic paint, overlapping one another, creating a memorizing landscape of color. When the multiple panels are installed together, the interplay of these vibrant colors captivate the room.

For Rainmaker Commissions, the standard price chart + custom sized commissions are calculated at $1.00 per square inch with an added 30% commission fee.

To incentivize the commission of multiple panels in this series, when a Collector commissions two or more canvases, the 30% commission fee shall be waived.

Mosaic animals (The Harrison Collection)

The Harrison Collection is an ongoing art collection that encompasses different art series, all inspired by AVM’s son, Harrison, and motherhood. As AVM grows and evolves, so will these original works of art.

Mosaic Animals, are the first set of works created for The Harrison Collection. Mosaic Animals consist of a variety of animals common among toddlers, that incorporate AVM’s signature mosaic style using watercolor markers on paper.

By working with paper and watercolor markers, opposed to several canvases, water and full coffee cans of acrylic paint, AVM was able to ease back into the swing of creating again.
